One of my favorite things to do in the New York City is people watching. I enjoy observing the walks, style, and interactions that each person carries with them. This curiosity about strangers has extended into this project, The Happiness Project.

However this project also differs as rather then watching from afar I have placed myself in a position up close, actually interacting with the people of New York.

Freshman year of high school I found myself wondering what made me happy and how would I describe myself with words of my own rather than words that others used. To my surprise I simply couldn't think of a response, so I decided to embark on a journey asking strangers the very same questions that I struggled with. Seeing the similarities and differences in each persons response was a astonishing feeling, knowing that people can be so similar and different.

My goal with this project is to interview as many people as I can, as this project can keep growing with no expiration date.
